The Momentum 
We are currently seeking a Head of Sales and Business Development who wants to help us execute our growth strategy for the next two years: we will enter new markets, generating impact to new patients with multiple healthcare needs, whom we will help live their lives to their fullest potential. Exciting stuff!  

What you’ll be expected to do
You will be accountable for leading our Sales and Business Development Team. Duties include, but are not limited to:  

Strategic Planning responsibilities:  
  • Develop a strategic perspective based on a thorough understanding of Promptly and the market, working closely with our executive team and Board 
  • Continuously assess and improve the positioning of our sales offering, pricing and offers that may adapt to Healthcare’s changing context 
  • Develop standard methodologies and demonstrate cost efficiencies that can scale across geographies 
Business Development responsibilities:  
  • Work strategically to ensure every member of our team hits their targets 
  • Design and deliver frequent sales coaching to BDM’s and SDR’s, to improve cold outreach, pitches, virtual and in-person demonstrations and lead closing 
  • Take a leading hand in pitching and contract negotiations for larger deals 
  • Set, monitor and report accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and goals for the sales team 
  • Manage the sales-side of our CRM, and build on the use of additional tools and software to improve the sales team internally and externally 
  • Partner with Business Marketing for client events, social engagements, and sponsorships based on local market dynamics and broad business knowledge 
  • Represent the Promptly Brand at client summits through public speaking, panel moderation, and keynotes  
  • Hire into and grow the existing sales team
Client management responsibilities:  
  • Engage with key clients on a senior level 
  • Look for new and expanded sales opportunities with current clients. 
  • Collaborate broadly with internal operations and product teams in develop overall scope and plan for contracts 
  • Regularly check in with clients on high-level aspects of the contract (personnel, budget, overall satisfaction). 

Qualifications and work experience
  • Previous professional experience in scaling a tech business at Series A/B is highly valued 
  • Strong negotiation skills demonstrated with proven experience of engaging with seasoned executives 
  • Multitasking and prioritization skills with a demonstrated capability to manage several negotiations and priorities in parallel 
  • Fluency in English

You are bright, articulate and passionate about being part of a nascent project in healthcare. You have the ability to lead and coach other people and the flexibility to manage differences of opinion within the team. You are a good communicator, and you are excellent at establishing contacts and building relationships. You privilege an analytical approach and an ability to identify the strategic dimension of the issues.

What is the recruiting process like
  • There is a first interview with your future manager and/ or seasoned team members to get to know you and to give you an overview of Promptly and of the job you are applying to
  • Afterwards, you will undergo a technical assessment stage in which you will work on a test task or solve a business case. Depending on the position, it might be sent before the interview
  • In same exceptional cases, a third interview might take place. Don’t worry if this happens. It’s because we have a good opinion on you, but there might be something we still need to get clear
  • Finally, you will get your offer and hopefully you’ll accept it!
