The Momentum

We are scaling fast and (certainly not) breaking things, backed by renowned VC investors. In the next two years, we will enter new markets in Europe and Latin America, reaching out to new patients with multiple healthcare needs, whom we will help live their lives to their fullest potential. We are looking for an  entry-level R&D Specialist to join the R&D team. The candidate will be responsible for developing innovation project grants and applying to Horizon Europe funds, with a primary focus on digital health initiatives.

This role requires a strong capacity to read scientific papers and to critically brainstorm information internally with the team. The candidate shall have good English writing skills, synthetic capacity, and high attention to detail. Understanding of digital health technologies and markets, and business acumen in the healthcare sector are desirable.

What you’ll be expected to do

  • Write R&D proposals, namely the sections of Excellence, Impact and Implementation;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations) to define project plans, milestones, and deliverables;
  • Capacity to keep track of industry trends, regulations, and scientific literature in digital health and biomedical research;
  • Map internal innovation needs and brainstorm possible solutions, while aligning with the company’s objectives, and timelines;
  • Foster partnerships and collaborations with relevant stakeholders, including healthcare providers, industry partners, and research institutions.

Qualifications and work experience

  • Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Medical Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health or a related field with a strong background in technology and healthcare;
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral);
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Good handling of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Strong understanding of digital health technologies, including telemedicine, health informatics, and data analytics;

What is the recruiting process like

  • There is a first interview with your future manager and/ or seasoned team members to get to know you and to give you an overview of Promptly and of the job you are applying to.
  • Afterwards, you will undergo a technical assessment stage in which you will work on a test task or solve a business case. 
  • In some exceptional cases, a third interview might take place. Don’t worry if this happens. It’s because we have a good opinion on you, but there might be something we still need to get clear.
  • Finally, you will get your offer and hopefully you’ll accept it!
